Building strong partnerships is at the core of how we do business, and our commitment to working with Indigenous communities across Canada reflects this value. Through agreements with local communities, we ensure that every partnership is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each region.

We prioritize active engagement with Indigenous communities when starting new mining projects, whether by collaborating with customers who already have connections or by initiating conversations to explore potential collaborations. Equity participation is central to our approach, ensuring that economic benefits flow directly into the communities we partner with.

Our Indigenous Hires Program and contributions to the First Nations Capacity Fund aim to remove barriers to entry in the industry by providing education, mentorship, and proper equipment (PPE). These initiatives also allow participants to work close to home and build transferable skills for future career growth. We are proud to support capacity growth, helping individuals advance their careers and make lasting impacts within their communities.
